Wisconsin Women’s Network Mourns the Death of Midge Miller

The board and staff of the Wisconsin Women’s Network wish to express their condolences to the family of Midge Miller, longtime advocate for equality and former state legislator. Ms. Miller was a founding member of the National Women’s Political Caucus and a longtime member of the Wisconsin Women’s Network, honored by the Network individually as Stateswoman of the Year in 1990 and as part of the Wisconsin delegation to the 1977 National Women’s Conference in 2002. A gutsy defender of women’s rights and a role model for all, Ms. Miller passed away on April 17, 2009. For more on Ms. Miller’s life and legacy, please visit The Capital Times.
